Long Range Microwave Transmission Equipment Assembly IDU RTN 320F
The OptiX RTN 320F (RTN 320F for short) is a next-generation, full-outdoor, and dual-channel product in the OptiX RTN radio transmission system series.
There are two types of the OAU 2F: OAU 2F (DC option) and OAU 2F (P&E option). Unless otherwise specified, the OAU 2F represents these two types.


On mobile communication networks, the RTN 320F can:
* Independently form chain or ring backhaul networks to provide links with high capacity, bandwidth, and reliability for 3G/LTE base stations.
* Work with the ATN to provide a microwave channel solution for transparent transmission on the IP RAN.
* Replace an existing OptiX RTN 900 IDU which needs to be moved outdoors.
* Work with the RTN 380A/RTN 380AX to implement full-outdoor Super Dual Band. This solution achieves zero footprint and provideshigh-bandwidth and long-distance mobile backhaul links. This solution applies to tail sites without outdoor cabinets or equipment rooms. Figure 1-8 show a full-outdoor Super Dual Band solution where the RTN 320F serves as the slave device and works with the RTN 380A.

d: The difference between Strong/Light modulation schemes and normal modulation schemes lies in FEC encoding parameter settings.Strong modulation schemes provide stronger FEC capabilities, which means higher receiver sensitivity but lower air interface bandwidth. Light modulation schemes provide otherwise.
e: In IS3 mode, 2048QAM is supported only when XPIC is disabled and AM is enabled.
f: In IS6 mode, 4096QAM is supported only when XPIC is disabled and AM is enabled.
g: In IS8 mode, 8192QAM is supported only when the 28/40/56 MHz bandwidth is used, XPIC is disabled, and AM is enabled.
h: To cascade NEs to form an EPLA protection group, you can install a 1.25/4.25/10 Gbit/s optical module on any optical port and use the port as a cascade port.
i: To cascade NEs to form a 1+1 protection group, you can use any GE/10GE port as a cascade port.
j: To cascade NEs to form an EPLA protection group, you can install a 1.25/4.25/10 Gbit/s optical module on any optical port and use the port as a cascade port.
k: To cascade NEs to form a 1+1 protection group, you can use any GE/10GE port as a cascade port.
l: If the two 10GE optical ports are configured as FE optical ports, they cannot both be included in the list for clock source selection.
